Clear Height Properties Adds Three People to Property Management and Accounting Staffs; Ongoing Acquisitions Strategy Fuels Company Growth

Clear Height Properties, the Chicago based real estate investment and management firm, has announced the appointment of three new people to the company. Joining the rapidly expanding firm are Monika Cepatis, Property Manager; Ryan Ferris, Associate Property Manager; and Tom Kuczek, Accounting Associate.

“As we continue to grow our portfolio and deepen the level and types of services we offer, we will be looking to bring on board talented individuals in all areas of our business,” said Joseph Sergi, COO of Clear Height Properties. “We are excited to bring Monika, Ryan and Tom on board to help integrate into our systems our recent and significant portfolio acquisitions.”

Monika Cepaitis joins Clear Height as a Property Manager at Clear Height Properties where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s property portfolio of office, industrial and flex properties. Her responsibilities include management, leasing, client retention, property maintenance, and overseeing the assets operating budget. Cepaitis is an organized, efficient professional that has a keen attention to detail and a focus on providing the best experience to each tenant.

Previously, Cepaitis was an Asset Management Associate at Arbor Lodging Partners, a hotel investment and management company. She was involved in hotel acquisitions, financial reporting and capital projects.  Cepaitis was accountable for monitoring key trends for a 14-hotel portfolio, with an emphasis on accounting and hotel operations.

Cepaitis graduated with a B.A. in Communication from University of Illinois Champaign.  She is a licensed real estate Broker in Illinois.

Ryan Ferris is an Associate Property Manager where he is responsible for managing property assets, tenant relationships, and assisting the management team in day-to-day company operations. Ferris previously worked as a Commercial Real Estate Analyst with Colliers International in the firm’s Ann Arbor, Michigan office.

Ferris is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of Michigan and Illinois (2018). He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in Economics.

Tom Kuczek is an Accounting Associate responsible for assisting the team with all aspects of Accounting and Finance. More specifically, Kuczek assists the Finance Director with day-to-day operations and communicating with Clear Height Properties property management team.

Kuczek’s interest in real estate stems from coursework in college at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where he earned his B.S. in Finance with a minor in Kinesiology. His work experience primarily has been in the healthcare sector with Athletico Physical Therapy where he was a Rehabilitation Aide and Assistant Office Coordinator. At Athletico, he assisted patients with their therapeutic exercises, while making sure front desk operations ran smoothly and efficiently.

In the last several months Clear Height Properties has made two significant acquisitions, including a portfolio of five industrial properties from American Landmark Properties and a $40 million portfolio of office and flex properties that included 26TWENTYFIVE, a 201,800-square-foot office building in Oak Brook. 

Additionally, since late Spring, Clear Height Properties has nearly doubled the size of its staff. Earlier this year the firm announced the appointments of Jason Pammler, Managing Director of Project and Development Services, and Gary Rose, Managing Director, Asset Management & Acquisitions.
